Volunteers
Volunteers are needed. Volunteering is a great way for people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved with the community and volunteers are an important part of Bennettswood Neighbourhood House. We offer a variety of opportunities to suit your needs, availability and skills within a welcoming environment. We are committed to providing a safe and well-supported experience for all our volunteers.

Positions vacant:
Committee of Governance members (2 vacancies)

As a committee member, your time and effort is valued and important for ensuring that the House is community-governed and remains connected with the local community and the people within it.

Committee of Governance meetings are held at Bennettswood Neighbourhood House a minimum of six times in a calendar year, usually on the third Monday of each month (except school holidays). Meetings commence at 1pm sharp and conclude at approximately 2.30pm.

​The Committee works in partnership with the Manager to ensure that strategic objectives and goals of the organisation are achieved and supports the Manager to carry out their role and responsibilities.

Committee of Governance members are required to undergo a National Criminal Check (paid for by BeNH if you join the committee).
